- 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- salt to taste
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- Combine the cucumber, onion, pepper, lime juice, salt, hot sauce, and water in a bowl; toss to combine. Refrigerate until the flavors blend, at least 1 hour. Serve cold.
