  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce, or to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
