Ingredients

  • 1 small lemon
  • 1 1 quart mason jar
  • 14 ounces cold water, divided, or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 5 ice cubes, or as needed


Directions

  1. Roll lemon on a flat surface, cut in half, and squeeze juice and pulp into mason jar. Pour 12 ounces water into the jar.
  2. Stir sugar and remaining 2 tablespoons water together in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Pour sugar mixture and ice into mason jar and stir.
