Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt


Directions

  1. Pour warm water, honey, butter, whole wheat flour, bread flour, salt, and yeast, respectively, into the pan of a bread machine.
  2. Set the bread machine to Basic, 2 pound loaf, light crust, and select Start. Cool completely before slicing.
