- 1 cup firmly packed fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup olive oil, or as needed
- 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup raw cashews
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut aminos (soy-free seasoning sauce)
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- Process basil, olive oil, pumpkin seeds, cashews, lemon juice, garlic, sea salt, coconut aminos, and cayenne pepper in a food processor, adding more oil as necessary, until desired consistency is reached.
