- 2 tablespoons chicken drippings
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup canned sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Heat chicken drippings in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and cook, stirring, until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Add chicken broth; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until gravy thickens, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in mushrooms, parsley, salt, and pepper.
