- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon peppermint extract
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring, or as desired
- Mix confectioners' sugar, shortening, water, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth; add peppermint extract and red food coloring and mix until color is evenly incorporated.
