Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 2 fluid ounces whiskey
  • 1 fluid ounce orange liqueur
  • 3/4 fluid ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ice


Directions

  1. Place sugar in a shallow bowl. Run lemon wedge around the rim of a glass. Dip rim into sugar.
  2. Combine whiskey, orange liqueur, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker; add ice, cover shaker, and shake for 20 seconds. Strain drink into prepared cocktail glass.
