- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Refrigerate before using to fill pastries prior to baking them.
