- 2 teaspoons whole fennel seeds
- 8 green cardamom pods
- 2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
- 10 black peppercorns
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 star anise pod, broken into pieces
- 1/3 cup Aunt Sue’s® Raw & Unfiltered Honey
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 5 tea bags black tea
- Toast the spices in a medium saucepan over medium heat till fragrant. Add water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, and add to tea bags. Steep another five minutes, then remove tea bags.
- Strain, then stir in milk and honey. Serve.
