- 1 tablespoon tamarind extract
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Blend the following in a food processor until smooth: tamarind extract, brown sugar, water, dates and cumin seeds.
