- 2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons water, or more as needed
- 1/4 teaspoon sumac powder (optional)
- Place yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt in a small bowl; whisk until combined. Add water and continue to whisk until the sauce has reached the desired consistency. Sprinkle with sumac.
