- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 hot dogs
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- 16 edible candy eyeballs
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Unwrap crescent-roll dough; press perforated edges to seal and form 4 rectangles. Using a sharp knife, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 8 thin strips (32 strips total).
- Wrap 4 strips around each hot dog to make mummy bandages, leaving a small gap near the top where the hot dog shows through to form the face. Place mummy dogs on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until crescent dough is golden brown. Remove from baking sheet and cool slightly. Use ketchup or mustard to adhere eyeballs to mummy dogs. Serve with additional ketchup and mustard, if desired.
