Chelsey's Strawberry Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 head green leaf lettuce - rinsed, dried, and chopped
  • 1 red onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 pint strawberries, halved
  • 1/2 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds


Directions

  1. Place lettuce, red onion, and strawberries in a large bowl. Place creamy salad dressing, sugar, milk, vinegar, and poppy seeds in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; cover jar and shake until smooth. Pour dressing over salad; toss to combine.
