Mah's Red Wine Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil


Directions

  1. Mash garlic with a bit of salt using a mortar and pestle; transfer to a bowl. Add vinegar, mayonnaise, and oregano to garlic; whisk.
  2. Slowly pour olive oil into the bowl while vigorously whisking the oil into the vinegar mixture to incorporate; season with salt and pepper.
