- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup prepared dashi stock
- 1 egg
- 1 small zucchini, grated
- 1/4 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped, divided
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil, or as needed
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon okonomiyaki sauce, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, or to taste
- Mix flour, dashi, egg, zucchini, cabbage, carrot, and 1 green onion in a large bowl for the batter.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour in batter. Top with bacon slices. Cook until golden brown, 5 to 15 minutes per side. Top with okonomiyaki, mayonnaise, and remaining green onion.
