Mock Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup crushed saltine crackers
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. In a mixing bowl combine pecans, cracker crumbs, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and eggs. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Shape batter into walnut-size balls. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, or until browned.
