Cold Macaroni Salad with Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup seashell pasta
  • 2 hot dogs, sliced 3/4-inch thick
  • 3/4 cup green manzanilla olives stuffed with pimento, halved
  • 4 ounces mild Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®), or as needed


Directions

  1. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook shell pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until cooked through but firm to the bite, 8 minutes. Drain and run under cold water to chill.
  2. Place pasta in a salad bowl and combine with hot dogs, olives, Cheddar cheese, and creamy salad dressing. Stir in more salad dressing if mixture seems dry. Keep salad refrigerated.
